We came to Houston to check the equipment and get trained in gym management. Originally our intention was to open a gym but after seeing the quality of the people and the equipment we were inspired to start distributing for them.
The factory visit was particularly exciting. I am a physician. I was all excited when my husband wanted to open a fitness center after hearing me talk about the benefits of circuit training using hydraulic equipment. Isokinetic exercise is propably the best type of strength training exercise you can do; coupled with a circuit, you get your cardio and strength training in just 30 minutes. He wanted to open a center for men and women of all ages and sizes, so adjustable equipment was necessary.

We investigated many types of equipment and franchise opportunities, which seem to offer little other than their name. Then we came upon Shapes (not just) for Women equipment.

Symanthia and her staff; Rosie and Max were extremely helpful in guiding us through the process of starting a business- outlining what we need, connecting us to insurance companies, software support, and certification programs. They even organized the latter to make it easy for owners to obtain certification and also provided us with an operations manual. They gave us the best package deal on the equipment and included many extras (gym accessories, body fat analyzer, etc..) at no extra charge. They give you a choice, where other companies do not allow you to pick and choose the equipment you want. They deliver what they promise. It has been a pleasure working with them. Hats off to them for the great job they do!!! We recommend working with Shapes for Women to anyone who is interested in promoting health through exercise. :-)
